Wij bieden een website waarbij 'fair-huren' het motto is. Wat dat betekent? Geen commissies, geen tussenpersonen maar juist direct contact met de potentiële huurders. Andersom geldt dit natuurlijk ook. Huurders nemen direct contact op met de eigenaar van de vakantiewoning. Hierdoor blijft onze website laagdrempelig en persoonlijk.

Ons doel is om kleinschalige vakantie accommodaties, villa's en vakantiehuizen aan te bieden aan onze bezoekers. Grote hotels en commerciële accommodaties zal u dus ook niet vinden op ons platform. U kunt dus als een 'adults-only', kindvriendelijke accommodatie of glamping gerust bij ons terecht.

Een andere belangrijke voorwaarden is dat alle accommodaties voorzien zijn van een geldige verhuur-licentie!

Another important requirement is that all properties must have a valid rental licence!

De oorsprong van deze website ligt ergens in 2017. Een klein groepje Nederlandse verhuurders hadden via een whatsapp groep regelmatig contact over het doorsturen van potentiële gasten naar elkaar en het delen van zinvolle informatie mét elkaar. Na een aantal jaren hebben we de hoofden bij elkaar gestoken en is de informatieve website 'Vakantie oost Algarve' (VOA) ontstaan.

Inmiddels staat er een leuke informatieve website die veelvuldig bezocht wordt door vakantiegangers, potentiële vakantiehuis-zoekers en Algarve liefhebbers. Maar dus ook verhuurders, zoals u, die hun vakantiehuis willen verhuren, komen op deze website terecht.

The origin of this website goes back to 2017. A small group of Dutch holiday home owners stayed in touch through a WhatsApp group, regularly sharing useful information and referring potential guests to one another. After a few years, we decided to join forces – and the informative website ‘Vakantie Oost Algarve’ (VOA) was born.

Today, the site has grown into a helpful and well-visited platform, attracting holidaymakers, potential holiday home seekers, and Algarve enthusiasts alike. It also reaches property owners like yourself, who are looking to rent out their holiday homes.

Mirelle en Mayke zijn twee Nederlandse vriendinnen die beiden al jarenlang woonachtig zijn in de Oost Algarve. Ze zijn enthousiaste ondernemers en hebben ieder ook (al meerdere jaren) een vakantie accommodatie in de Oost Algarve. Ze weten dus uit eigen ervaring hoe fijn het is om via kleine, niet commerciële websites te kunnen adverteren en direct contact te hebben met de gasten. 

Mirelle and Mayke are two Dutch friends who have both been living in the Eastern Algarve for many years. They are enthusiastic entrepreneurs and each have a holiday accommodation in the Eastern Algarve, which they have been running for several years. From their own experience, they know how valuable it is to advertise through small, non-commercial websites and to have direct contact with guests.

Loopt de looptijd af? Dan ontvangt u een e-mail met de vraag of u uw advertentie wilt verlengen. Er is geen opzegtermijn, u kunt opzeggen wanneer u wilt.

Er zijn een aantal extra mogelijkheden waarbij u uw accommodatie extra in de spotlight kunt zetten. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan een extra vermelding op onze socials zoals Instagram en Facebook. Maar ook een vermelding in de nieuwsbrief of een plekje op de homepage van de website. 

De prijzen voor deze extra vermeldingen kunt u opvragen bij ons.

When your listing is about to expire, you will receive an email asking whether you would like to renew it. There is no cancellation period — you can cancel at any time.

There are several additional options to give your accommodation some extra exposure. For example, an extra feature on our social media channels such as Instagram and Facebook, a mention in our newsletter, or a spot on the homepage of the website.

Prices for these extra listings are available upon request.

Alle communicatie vanuit de 'VOA' naar potentiële gasten is in het Nederlands, denk aan de advertenties, social media posts, nieuwsbrieven etc.

De website groeit met het jaar en dus ook het bezoekersaantal. In 2024 lag het gemiddelde bezoekers aantal op meer dan 3000 bezoekers per maand. Dit zijn  bijna 40.000 bezoekers per jaar!
